The City of Napoleon, in partnership with the Henry County CIC, is investing in the revitalization of its downtown district through the Downtown Facade Enhancement Program (DFEP). This initiative offers matching reimbursement grants to qualifying property owners who make exterior improvements, helping to enhance the overall appearance, charm, and economic vitality of the community.

To be eligible for the program, properties and projects must meet the following criteria:

• Eligible Area: Properties must be physically located within the Downtown Commercial District (C-1 General Commercial).
• Eligible Improvements: Funds apply to exterior facade improvements that actively enhance the visual appearance and vibrancy of the downtown district.

The program operates on a cost-sharing, reimbursement basis with the following funding structures:

• Up to 50% Reimbursement: The grant will cover up to half of the total eligible project costs.
