Freedom Township

 Freedom Township is located in the northwestern portion of Henry County. Established among the earliest townships in the region, it has a long history rooted in agriculture and rural community life. Today, Freedom Township is home to approximately 967 residents and is characterized by productive farmland, open landscapes, and a strong sense of local heritage shaped by early settlers, many of whom were of German descent. The township continues to value its rural character while contributing to the broader economic and community life of Henry County.
